BoostSpeed is currently an investor demonstration using Creativemark hosted checkout and a shared Stripe sandbox. No live charges are taken. Sample keys do not activate software: they are marked SAMPLE-NOT-VALID. README downloads are not software installers. Use test payment details, not a real card.
How to raise a request
Use the orders and cancellations contact below, identifying your order and whether you want to cancel or report a fault. A clear cancellation statement is enough; you do not need a particular form or a reason where a statutory change-of-mind right applies. Keep a copy and the sending date. The published contact is shown below as text. This policy page does not send your notice or open a support ticket.
For a fault, describe the edition, device/OS and error without sending your full key or card details. We may seek proportionate evidence and troubleshooting, but will not require you to give up statutory remedies or deal only with the manufacturer. There is no separate voluntary change-of-mind guarantee beyond applicable rights in this draft. An invalid key, wrong edition, inaccessible file, duplicate charge or order that cannot be supplied is a reason to ask us to investigate; the remedy depends on the facts and applicable law, not simply on whether a reveal or download was recorded.
United Kingdom: cancellation and digital delivery
For a qualifying distance contract for digital content, the normal cancellation period is 14 days from the day after the contract is made. Missing required cancellation information can extend it. For immediate supply, loss of that right requires prior express consent to start during the period, acknowledgement that the cancellation right will be lost once supply begins, and the required confirmation on a durable medium. Payment, a general terms checkbox or merely revealing a key is not enough.
We do not assert that the current checkout has achieved these conditions. If the required consent, acknowledgement or confirmation is missing, we will not rely on this exception or charge for content supplied during the cancellation period when you validly cancel.
UK Consumer Contracts Regulations: digital content (regulation 37)GOV.UK: online and distance sellingWhat to include in a cancellation notice
You can write: 'I am cancelling my contract for [product], ordered on [date], order reference [reference]. My name is [name] and my checkout email is [email].' Send it to the orders and cancellations contact below and keep a dated copy. This example is optional; any clear statement can exercise an applicable withdrawal right. Do not wait for a support reply before sending your notice within the deadline.
This page cannot submit a cancellation and there is no online withdrawal function here. The required model cancellation form and a tested cancellation workflow must still be supplied before live sales.
UK Consumer Contracts Regulations: exercising cancellation (regulation 32)GOV.UK: online and distance sellingYour Europe: distance selling and digital contentUnited Kingdom: faulty digital content
Paid digital content must meet applicable quality, fitness and description requirements. Rights include repair or replacement within a reasonable time without significant inconvenience and at no cost. Where that remedy is unavailable or fails the statutory conditions, an appropriate price reduction, potentially the full price, is available. Rights for content we have no right to supply and for damage to your device or other content are preserved. A download or activation is not a waiver of fault rights.
UK Consumer Rights Act: digital repair or replacement (section 43)UK Consumer Rights Act: digital price reduction (section 44)European Union
Qualifying online digital-content contracts normally have a 14-day withdrawal period from conclusion. Loss on starting supply requires prior express immediate-performance consent, acknowledgement of losing withdrawal rights and the required contract confirmation. We do not represent that this is currently satisfied. National rules, including extensions for missing information, remain applicable.
Faulty or misdescribed digital content carries remedies under applicable national law implementing EU rules: bringing it into conformity free of charge within a reasonable time without significant inconvenience, or a price reduction or termination where the legal conditions are met. Required updates and remedies are not limited to a manufacturer's voluntary warranty or lost by starting delivery.
If content is not supplied, you can normally call on the seller to supply it without undue delay, or within an extra period you expressly agree. If the seller still fails, you can terminate under the applicable rules. Immediate termination can be available if the seller will not supply, or misses an agreed delivery time that was essential. A fault claim is not confined to the 14-day change-of-mind period.

Australian Consumer Law guarantees cannot be excluded. For a major product failure, you can choose a refund or replacement, or keep the product and seek compensation for reduced value. A minor failure must be fixed free of charge within a reasonable time; if it is not, further remedies apply. Compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss may also be available. Different remedies apply to services. These rights are not limited by activation or a stated licence term. The ACL does not generally require a refund simply because you change your mind.
A major problem can include software that is unsafe, substantially different from its description, or has problems that would have stopped a reasonable person buying it had they known. For a minor problem, a free fix may be the first remedy. A discount or sale price does not remove these guarantees, and we cannot require you to pursue the manufacturer instead of the seller.
ACCC: repair, replace, refund or cancelUnited States
Federal and state protections differ. The FTC's three-day Cooling-Off Rule does not cover purchases made entirely online; that is not a statement that you have no refund rights. Applicable state protections, warranties, misrepresentation rules and payment-card billing-error rights still apply. No UK or EU cooling-off rule is imposed as a limit on rights available under US law.
For a qualifying US credit-card billing error, CFPB guidance says to contact the issuer promptly and send a written notice within 60 calendar days after the charge appeared on the statement. Follow your issuer's instructions. That is not a universal deadline for debit cards, every chargeback or every type of purchase dispute.

Any refund due must be issued within the applicable statutory time limit, to the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. We do not charge a fee for a statutory reimbursement or require store credit. Your bank's posting time is separate; no specific Stripe or bank arrival time is promised. Where a licence is lawfully cancelled and refunded, stop using it; any deactivation must be consistent with your legal rights.
For a valid UK digital-content cancellation, reimbursement is due without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are told you are cancelling. A UK digital-content price-reduction refund is due without undue delay and within 14 days beginning with the day we agree you are entitled to it. Under applicable EU digital-content rules, reimbursement for a price reduction or termination is due without undue delay and within 14 days after the seller is informed of your decision to invoke that right. These different triggers are not one discretionary refund-request window.
You may contact your card issuer or payment provider at any time and should observe its deadlines. Reporting a concern to us is optional assistance, not a prerequisite, and does not pause issuer deadlines. Raising a dispute does not by itself cancel a licence or authorise key revocation. We do not impose chargeback fines, demand a waiver or make a statutory refund conditional on withdrawing a dispute. Relevant order, payment, delivery and correspondence records may be shared to investigate the claim. Tell us about an existing dispute so that we can coordinate the remedy and avoid a duplicate reimbursement.
